Wedding Piper

I am a married man and I am extremely happy. The day of our wedding was great, and I wouldn't change anything about it. Well, maybe one minor detail. I was honored to attend a joyous marriage celebration for some good friends who, wanting to have a small elegant touch to their perfect day, had hired a professional wedding piper. My wife and I used my mp3 player to provide the music for our ceremony, but if I had thought about it, a wedding piper would have added a bit of class to our wedding, since employing one in Glasgow is not the same as doing it otherwise. But is it really?
Bagpipes are played by a lot of people, in many places around the world nowadays, no matter if they are Scottish or not. Bagpipes have a way of bringing an elegance and dignity to an occasion, although not in an excessively somber sort of way. As I continue to age, I find that I enjoy hearing the sound of the pipes since it's not often heard where I reside. Bagpipes are certainly a welcome departure to the oft-used organ music so often found in church weddings, something which I managed to avoid for my own wedding.

When I was done with my groom speech, Barry White showed up(well, an impersonator of Barry White), but it wasn't quite the same thing as bagpipes, is it?

Although I am not very likely to be getting a divorce, a bit of me looks back and thinks that having a wedding piper at my wedding would have been pretty awesome.
